News

BENTONVILLE, AR - First Friday Presented by Walmart celebrates our Nation’s Birthday as Downtown Bentonville Inc. joins forces with the City of Bentonville.

From 3pm to 9pm, DBI hosts its free, family-friendly festival, First Friday ‘A Salute to Service’, which features a unique Mustang plane flyover. At 9:30pm immediately following First Friday, the City of Bentonville will launch its annual fireworks display at Orchards Park. The fireworks were postponed due to severe weather on the 4th of July.

Executive Director Dana Schlagenhaft said, “Every cloud has a silver lining. Pairing together two of Bentonville’s most memorable summer events back-to-back will create an action packed night of festivities for the entire community!”

July’s First Friday Monthly Takeover is Mother’s Cookies. Your favorite animal cookies brand since 1914 is bringing a HUGE carnival-like experience for all families to enjoy.  Trust US, your family will want to be here to see, and taste Mother’s Cookies!!!

Live entertainment will begin at 4:40 on the Slim Chickens Mainstage.
