Community Invited to Relaunch Pickin’ on the Square
BENTONVILLE, AR — Downtown Bentonville Inc. announces the return of Pickin’ on the Square, a beloved community tradition where local musicians—and anyone with a guitar, fiddle, banjo, or other acoustic instrument—can gather to play, listen, and connect.
The first evening of the relaunch will be Thursday, June 26, at 6 PM on the Bentonville Square. With community support, the event will continue every Thursday evening (weather permitting) on the Bentonville Square.
“This has always been the community’s event—one that has stood the test of time in our city. It doesn’t belong to DBI, but we hope to be the spark that helps bring it back regularly to the Bentonville Square,” said Dana Sargent Schlagenhaft, Executive Director, Downtown Bentonville Inc.
Whether you're a seasoned musician or just love live music, you're invited to bring a chair, bring an instrument, and help us build this back into a weekly downtown favorite.
