What to Expect: October First Friday
We can’t wait to celebrate the final First Friday of 2026 with you on October 2! A special thank you to Walmart as our season-long sponsor for First Friday Live. We are grateful for the continued support of our community partners, including the City of Bentonville, Visit Bentonville, and the Walton Family Foundation.
You can expect live entertainment, including a special musical guest out of Nashville, Tennessee coming home to Bentonville. Plus, local vendors, delicious food, and more throughout the downtown square. Grab your friends and family and get ready to soak up one last First Friday until 2027!
1. October’s Takeover Sponsors
We’re excited to welcome Werther's and Benebone as our October takeover sponsors! Be sure to stop by their activation areas right on the square to enjoy exciting giveaways and interactive experiences.
Free Yoga on the Square with Yoga Story
Start your First Friday with a complimentary yoga class on the Bentonville Square, presented by Yoga Story, from 12:00–1:00 PM! The class is open to all ages and experience levels, making it an easy and relaxing way to kick off your afternoon downtown.
Bring your mat, blanket, or towel, along with plenty of water, and get ready to move, stretch, and enjoy some time outside before the evening festivities begin.
First Friday Vendor Booths Open
3:00 PM – 9:00 PM
The Bentonville Square and surrounding downtown streets will come alive with local vendors, makers, businesses, nonprofits, and community organizations.
Main Stage Schedule
For the final month of First Friday Live, we are excited to welcome the following artists to the First Friday stage:

2. Shop, Explore & Support Local
With more than 100 local vendors filling Downtown Bentonville, October First Friday is the perfect opportunity to discover something new. As you make your way through the event, keep an eye out for:
- Local artists and handmade goods
- Specialty foods and unique treats
- Local businesses and service providers
- Clubs, nonprofits, and community organizations
- Interactive experiences and family-friendly activities
Whether you’re looking for something special to take home, checking out a new local business, or simply enjoying the First Friday atmosphere, there’s always something new to discover.
3. What to Eat
Come hungry! A variety of food trucks will be serving up savory favorites, sweet treats, and everything in between starting at 11 a.m. Plus, don’t forget about the many delicious downtown restaurants to choose from as well!
October’s food truck lineup includes:
- Who Cut the Cheese – Grilled cheese, lemonade, and more
- Rolling Taco – Mexican
- Carsten’s – Carnival favorites and treats
- Downtown Dogs – Hot dogs
Grab a bite, try something new, and enjoy your meal while taking in everything happening around the Square.
4. Parking
First Friday takes place throughout downtown, with the Bentonville Square serving as the heart of the celebration. Several streets surrounding the Square will be closed during the event to accommodate vendors, entertainment, and attendees.
If you're planning to join us, consider carpooling, biking, or walking downtown when possible. Arriving early is also a great way to find parking and make the most of your time downtown.
