What to Expect: June First Friday

June First Friday: Bentonville Together 

We are thrilled to have Walmart back as our presenting sponsor for the 2026 season. We also want to give a big THANK YOU to our incredible community partners, including the City of Bentonville, Visit Bentonville, and the Walton Family Foundation. 

1. BENTONVILLE TOGETHER

This June, First Friday Live becomes a celebration of culture, community, and connection as Downtown Bentonville comes alive for Bentonville Together — an international-themed experience filled with music, movement, food, art, and traditions from around the world. 

From cultural performances on stage to interactive experiences throughout the Square, this month’s event is designed to bring people together through shared experiences, global traditions, and nonstop energy.

CULTURAL PERFORMANCES ALL NIGHT 

The Main Stage will feature a full evening lineup of cultural dance and music performances representing traditions from around the world, including: 

  • Irish dance 
  • Bollywood performances 
  • Brazilian dance 
  • Chinese cultural performances 
  • Latin dance groups 
  • International music and movement showcases 
  • Local multicultural arts organizations and community performers 

The energy on stage will rotate throughout the night with performances designed to celebrate the diversity that makes Bentonville special.

2. TAKEOVER SPONSOR: ALLAN SULLIVAN COMPANY 

This month’s Takeover Sponsor, Allan Sullivan Company, is bringing the energy in a major way with 12 unique brand activations throughout the event footprint. 

Expect immersive experiences, interactive booths, giveaways, and exciting pop-up moments woven throughout the Square all evening long.

3. STAY COOL + HYDRATED 

June First Friday means summer heat — and we’re ready for it.

Splash Pad: The splash pad will be fully operational during the event, giving kids and families a fun way to cool off throughout the evening. 

Complimentary bottled water will be available during the entire event thanks to Niagara Water.

4. EVENT SCHEDULE 

FOOD TRUCKS 11:00 AM – 9:00 PM 

Come hungry — food trucks open early and stay open all day and evening.

VENDORS OPEN 3:00 PM – 9:00 PM 

Explore nearly 150 booths filled with shopping, activities, giveaways, and experiences.

LIVE MUSIC + CULTURAL PERFORMANCES 5:00 PM – 9:00 PM 

Continuous entertainment and cultural showcases on the Main Stage.

FREE FACE PAINTING 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM 

Free family-friendly face painting for kids and attendees.

You’ll hear music from around the world, discover new traditions, taste incredible food, and experience Downtown Bentonville transformed into one giant international celebration. 

Whether you come to dance, explore, shop, eat, or simply take it all in — there will be something happening around every corner.

5. PLAN AHEAD 

  • Roads around the Square will be closed 
  • ● Parking will fill early 
  • ● Carpooling and rideshare are encouraged 
  • ● Arrive early to experience everything
