BENTONVILLE, AR - April 5th marks the return of First Friday.  Over the next 7 months, on every first Friday of the month, Downtown Bentonville will be transformed into a huge, family-friendly block party.

With a season theme of ‘Mixtape’, First Friday presented by Walmart, will focus on music and experiences from the past as we remind everyone that ‘It’s HIP to be SQUARE’.  In fact, you can sign up for the Downtown Bentonville Inc. Spotify playlist and enjoy great music all year long.  Click here.

In April, First Friday will shine a spotlight on ‘The Eclipse’.  April’s monthly sponsor is Daiya Foods.  Daiya will have a large activation with samples of dairy-free cheese recipes, as we ponder, could the dairy-free cow jump over the moon?

The total solar eclipse will be a BIG hit all across Arkansas, so First Friday will celebrate this natural phenomenon.  The event will feature a Solar System Walk and Eclipse Demos that will dazzle both kids and adults alike.

As in years past, First Friday will begin with ‘Lunch on the Square’ at 11:00 am.  At noon enjoy free Yoga on the Square with Yoga Story. First Friday vendors and sponsors will officially open at 3:00 pm.

The Mainstage sponsored by Slim Chickens will turn up the volume with the best of the best in DJ music starting at 5:00 pm, with our headliner Theronious Chunk spinning records from 8:00 to 9:00 pm.
