Bentonville, AR - Set your calendars for April 4th, as First Friday presented by Walmart is back in Downtown Bentonville.  Downtown Bentonville Incorporated is proud to produce another 7 month season of free family entertainment for everyone in the heart of Bentonville, the downtown square.

Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art will be taking over First Friday with a fun activation that celebrates the museum’s latest special exhibition KAWS: FAMILY. Drop by to check out their expanded Mobile Art Lab, featuring a selfie moment, community art making, and more information on this iconic exhibition.  KAWS: FAMILY on view through July 28.

First Friday begins at 3:00 PM and continues until 9:00 PM, with live entertainment on stage starting at 4:30 PM.  This month DBI has partnered with City Sessions NWA for First Friday’s entertainment.

Our friends at Powerback Pediatrics are hosting Sensory Alley (generously funded by The Schmieding Foundation Incorporated).  Sensory Alley is an inclusive, quiet space for families and individuals who experience sensory barriers.  

Before First Friday begins, don’t forget to join us for your lunch break. Our amazing local restaurants will all be open during First Friday, so be sure to stop in and grab a bite.  If you are in a hurry, our local food trucks will be open starting at 11:00 AM, and at Noon, get ready for Mommy & Me Yoga, courtesy of Yoga Story.

DBI is aware of the possibility of rain on Friday.  While First Friday is a rain-or-shine event, officials are closely monitoring the weather and working with local leaders and meteorologists to ensure the safety of everyone at April’s community event.
