It’s a Salute to Service this Friday in Downtown Bentonville

News

BENTONVILLE, AR - First Friday Presented by Walmart returns on July 5th as Downtown Bentonville Incorporated offers ‘A Salute to Service’, including a unique Mustang Flyover during the event.  Friday’s festival is focused on the brave men and women who serve our communities both locally and abroad, and keep our city and our communities safe.

During First Friday, you will see members of the US Armed Forces, military veterans, and our local civil servants, including local police, firefighters, and Sheriff deputies. Downtown Bentonville Incorporated is also welcoming several veteran-owned businesses to appear at First Friday.

Todd Garner joins DBI as an honorary chair this month. Garner is the Chief Product Officer at Sam’s Club and is a graduate of the Air Force Academy.

"I am looking forward to participating in Downtown Bentonville Inc's First Friday ‘Salute to Service’,” said Todd Garner, Chief Product Officer at Sam’s Club. “As a veteran and a proud resident of this community, I know that this event will be a meaningful tribute to the brave men and women who have served and continue to serve our country with honor and dedication."

Todd will join us for a conversation on stage at 6 pm about his time serving our country and how the veteran community is vital to Bentonville and Sam’s Club.
