Bentonville, AR - From festive bells and Christmas carols to holiday traditions from around the world, Downtown Bentonville continues the season with the annual Christmas Parade on Saturday, December 10th starting at 6pm. The Bentonville Christmas Parade is produced by the non-profit organization Downtown Bentonville Incorporated, with support from community partners.
This year’s theme is the ‘Colors of the Season’ and is brought to you by Hershey’s and Community Coffee. The parade will feature more than 100 floats and attractions, with more than 1000 participants making their way down the streets of Downtown Bentonville.
The parade will begin at the corner of 8th Street and Main Street, continue down Main Street, and around the famed Downtown Bentonville Square. Kirk and Amy Gober will emcee the parade. Kirk and Amy live in Bentonville where Kirk is the Regional Manager for Schlumberger Scherer Construction. Amy was Miss Arkansas 2013 and is now a marketing consultant. Kirk and Amy have two children, Lincoln (6) and Chanley (5).
Street closures will be necessary to keep the public and participants safe, and parking may be limited so arriving early is recommended. A parade map is attached to this release.
On Christmas morning at 11:00, KNWA-TV will air a one-hour special of the ‘Colors of the Season’ Downtown Bentonville Christmas Parade.
