Bentonville, AR - With the threat of heavy rain and thunderstorms expected over the next several days in Bentonville, Downtown Bentonville Incorporated is canceling First Friday on April 4th.

This decision was made under the guidance of local meteorologists.

"We know how much our community looks forward to First Friday, which makes it especially tough to cancel.”  DBI Executive Director Dana Schlagenhaft added, “But with storms and heavy rain in the forecast, safety has to come first. We want everyone to stay safe and dry—and we’ll be back soon with even more to celebrate together."

The spring event season continues with the beginning of the Bentonville Farmers Market on April 12th, and First Friday presented by Walmart returns on May 2nd.
