About

There is a fantastic coffee shop inside the Bentonville Library and it's not your typical "library coffee" by any means.

211 Cafe roasts their coffee locally, every week or two, so it's always fresh. It comes from Guatemala where Mauricio supports his friends' farms and he visits them every chance he gets. 211 Cafe is unique in that all their coffee is a medium roast. This helps give it the maximum amount of coffee flavor without that bitter taste. You can certainly taste the quality in every cup. Manual techniques include French Press, V60, Aeropress & Chemex and of course they offer all the classics like lattes, breves, cappuccinos, the red-eye, espresso shots and mochas. By the way, their chocolate is one of a kind. The chocolate they use in their mochas and hot cocoa comes from Antigua Guatemala which is the chocolate capital of the world. It's wonderful.

For a light lunch you can order quality breakfast & lunch sandwiches, grilled cheese and tasty pastries all at a reasonable price. It's not a full on dinner experience but it is a great spot for coffee and lunch.

The Story

211 Cafe started in 2015 in a small, hole-in-wall building tucked away in Downtown Bentonville, but many people don't know the amazing story of Mauricio and how he packed up his life in Guatemala to bring Bentonville a delicious piece of his country.
